Expertly crafted with premium 850 loft Ultra-Dry Down and ultra-lightweight fabrics, this well-designed quilt eliminates the weight of a sleeping bag zipper while offering freedom from the restrictive shape found in some sleeping bags.
The Ember Series enhances the simplicity of the quilt concept by incorporating snap-on attachment straps that keep the quilt securely positioned on a sleeping mat. Additionally, the drawcord base featured in the 50°F and 35°F models provides a ‘shape-shifting’ function—allowing for a wider base when extra movement is desired in warmer conditions or a snug fit for added warmth in cooler temperatures.
The Ember range also delivers multi-season versatility, as the innovative QuiltLock system enables attachment to any hooded Sea to Summit sleeping bag, enhancing thermal performance in colder climates.
Features
- The quilt is insulated with ULTRA-DRY Down 850 Loft, containing 90% down cluster premium goose down, which is responsibly sourced and certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).
- The outer shell is made from 10D nylon, while the inner lining is crafted from 7D nylon, ensuring minimal weight and bulk without compromising durability.
- The quilt includes four adjustable straps that allow it to be securely fastened onto a sleeping pad, preventing unwanted movement during sleep.
- A cushioned internal drawcord is positioned at the shoulder end, providing enhanced comfort and the ability to adjust for a snug or relaxed fit.
- The 10°C (50°F) model features a sewn-through construction with a drawcord at the foot section, allowing it to be fully opened as a quilt or cinched tightly to create a ‘foot pocket’.
- The 1.6°C (35°F) model is designed with box-baffle construction and a drawcord in the foot section, offering the flexibility to be used as an open quilt or drawn in for a snug foot pocket.
- The -3.9°C (25°F) model features box-baffle construction throughout and includes a sewn-in foot box that conveniently slips over the end of a sleeping mat for added warmth and security.
- The QuiltLock system allows the Ember quilt to attach seamlessly to any Sea to Summit sleeping bag with a hood, providing additional insulation in colder weather conditions.
