Cotton Lurex Blend Check 1970s Fringed Scarf 'VIP'

Jewel toned checks in plum, teal, garnet and moss weave together across this cotton lurex blend, each square catching a thread of gold that flickers as the fabric moves. The weave has a lovely tactile texture, substantial yet soft, finished with a generous fringed edge that swings with every step. A wonderfully wearable piece of colour and craft.

Fold it into a triangle and tie at the nape for a folk inspired finish, or drape it long over a plain black coat to let the fringe and colour do the talking. Beautiful against denim, tweed or a simple knit, and equally striking looped twice as a cowl for extra warmth.
