This tool is made specifically for chasing threads in T47 BB frame shells.

#647R - Right Hand Threaded T47 Tap
M47 x 1.0 right-hand threaded tap designed for use with the BTS-1 Bottom Bracket Tapping Set to tap T47 bottom bracket shells. This tap is used on the non-drive side (left side) of the bike.

#647L - Left Hand Threaded T47 Tap
The 647L is an M47 x 1.0 left-hand threaded tap designed for use with the BTS-1 Bottom Bracket Tapping Set to tap T47 bottom bracket shells. This tap is used on the drive side (right side) of the bike.
