Quince Collection
The quince earned its place in food history a couple of millennia ago. Not edible raw, but when cooked with sugar the colour changes to a sunset red and the flesh becomes buttery soft. Well know as quince paste to go with cheese, we have added a twist with a spiced jam and a sparkling jelly.
Quince Jelly - Slow poaching the quinces over a long period allows the jelly to develop a dark rose colour with a slightly sharp flavour and rich perfume. Ingredients: Quinces, water, sugar, lemon juice.
Quince Jam - Fragrant quince cooked long and slow with sugar, lemon and spices. Ingredients: Quince, sugar, lemon juice, speculaas spice blend.
Quince Paste - Spread on any sharp cheese, use as a glaze, or to add depth to a casserole or just eat it in slices as a sweet treat. Ingredients: Quinces, sugar, lemon juice. Free delivery nationwide.
