Philip C. Garside has been a Lay Preacher since 2007 and an active member of Wesley Methodist Church in Wellington, New Zealand, for over 40 years. He runs a mail-order book service supplying resources for ministers, worship leaders, and church members and publishes books on worship and theology.

Philip is also a passionate musician and, along with his wife Heather, leads a church singing group and sings with Festival Singers of Wellington. He enjoys exploring creative ways to enhance worship and preaching, incorporating music, storytelling, and interactive elements into his services. Philip and Heather live in Wellington, New Zealand, and have three creative adult children.
