Erysimum linifolium 'Lilac' Huge
Not sure how two so very different plants, albeit with exactly the same coloured flowers, (hence the same image for both entries) yet they can have such a different form. Horses for courses in terms of choice. This one has large leaves and a larger stature, about 65cm excluding flowers. These provide masses of fragrant flower heads of varying shades of lilac with a hint of cream throughout winter. Fine rgid leaves. Shorter stature. Trimming back after flowering has finished helps encourage another flush of flowers. Best grown in a sunny position where soils are free-draining, suitable for borders and containers. 50cm.
