Cytisus x beanii
A semi-prostrate, deciduous shrub, to 35cm high, with simple, linear green leaves and rich yellow flowers along the green branches in late spring or early summer, a mini version of the common broom plant. Non-invasive, no seedlings. Resplendent. Prefers a well drained soil in a sunny position, ideal in the rockery or scree garden. Prune by half after flowering.
