Silene armeria seed

This delightful annual or biennial has greyish foliage and clusters of bright pink or red flowers which are very valuable as they are opening for most of the summer. It will seed about gently and widely and be a delight for years to come. Just let it go wild in your garden. The rosette is a grey green which looks a bit like Sweet William, followed by masses of flowers on each stalk in summer. Sprinkle seeds for wildflower meadows, to liven up tough spots or anywhere.
