Abeliophyllum distichum
A rarely found fragrant shrub for early spring.
A monotypic genus in the olive family found in Korea where it is endangered. Also called Miseonnamu or white forsythia. A scrambling deciduous shrub with slender branches bearing dark green leaves and racemes of forsythia-like, fragrant white flowers 1 cm wide in late winter or early spring. Best in the sun or part sun. 1.2m H. Large pots so transport is more costly, some other plants can be combined.
