Fritillaria pontica

Connoisseurs' bulb.

Bulgaria, northern Greece and western Turkey. They are campanulate, green tinged with reddish-brown but not tessellated, and with a musky scent. It grows to 20-38 cm. One of the easiest of Fritillaries to grow in the garden. Light woodland or a sunnier spot.

These will be plus pots soon as they are potted up.
