Beginners Quilting Class

Beginning with this simple Irish Chain pattern, learn to use your tools like a pro, sew seams with flair, pick colors that pop, and assemble your quilt top with confidence. It's sew much fun!

Mix and match your quilt colours! Why settle for two when you can get your creative juices flowing and make it pop. Your quilt should match your vibe.

Both quilts samples here are the same Irish Chain pattern, which is what we will be learning to do.

Two class times:

Saturdays 7th and 14th March 9.30am-3pm

OR

Wednesday nights 11th, 18th, 25th March 6pm - 9pm

$60 plus materials

Needs List:

- sewing machine in good working order
- thread, scissors and pins

rotary cutter, mat and ruler

Fabric Requirements :

- 15cm of 10 various prints
- OR 10 x 2.5" strips of one fabric
- 2m solid white (for background and inner border)
- 1m outer border print

To finish the quilt you'll need

· 1/2m binding

- 3.5m fabric for the back or 1.6m of wide backing
