Hori Hori Japanese Digging and Weeding Garden Knife, Carbon Steel (Gyokucho)
A cross between a Knife and a Trowel, this Gardening Tool is useful for many tasks such as planting, weeding, transplanting, grubbing, removing roots or deep-rooted weeds, dividing perennials,. An extremely robust, well-built Gardening and Bonsai Tool.
Traditionally used in Japan to collect specimens for Bonsai (hori means "digging"), the Knife has a heavy-duty Carbon Steel Blade that is dished, with a serrated edge on one side and a sharpened edge on the other.
The serrated edge is perfect for root pruning, and the concave shape makes it great for scooping soil.
The Hori Hori Knife comes with a double-riveted natural Hardwood Handle and carries in a Vinyl Belt Sheath with 4.5 cm Belt Loop.
