Published in 1978 and written by Alan Dean Foster, Splinter of the Mind’s Eye was the very first original Star Wars novel set after A New Hope. Written before the saga expanded into what we now know as Episodes V and VI, it captures a fascinating alternate-era feel of Luke and Leia’s early adventures.

This vintage paperback edition shows age-related foxing and natural page yellowing, consistent with a late-1970s copy. Pages are firm and intact, and the book remains a solid, readable collector piece.
