Sylvac Mid-Century Green Ceramic Cheese Board – England
A beautifully sculptural mid-century ceramic cheese board by Sylvac, made in England and dating to the 1960s.
Finished in a rich olive-green glaze, this rectangular board features bold geometric relief and an integrated knife rest — a striking example of Sylvac’s move toward more modern, design-led tableware during the mid-century period.
Originally sold with a small cheese knife (now absent, as is very common), the board remains a practical and highly decorative piece, ideal for serving cheese, antipasti, or as a statement serving tray when entertaining.
A strong addition to any mid-century interior, and a standout example of British ceramic design from the era.
