Vintage Dutch Majolica Hand-Painted Vase (c.1950s)

This charming vintage Dutch Majolica vase was made in Holland in the mid-20th century and features classic hand-painted decoration in rich cobalt blue with warm pink, green and ochre detailing. The traditional dot-and-trellis pattern and bold colour bands are hallmarks of European Majolica produced for export during the 1950s–1960s.

Finished with a softly crazed glaze typical of age, the piece has a lovely tactile quality and a handmade character that works beautifully in both mid-century and boho-inspired interiors. Its compact size makes it ideal as a shelf piece, small vase, or decorative accent layered among books and ceramics.

The base is hand-marked “Majolica Holland" with the original form number, confirming its Dutch origin. This is a timeless decorative ceramic with plenty of character and shelf appeal.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Light glaze crazing consistent with age.
Size: Approx. 10 cm wide × 8.5 cm tall. Collector Note This piece forms part of our Mid-Century Ceramics Curated Collection, featuring a considered selection of European and studio ceramic design from the mid-20th century, spanning the 1940s through to the late 1970s.
