Vintage Sylvac UK Blue Teapot (c. 1950s-1960s)

Vintage Sylvac blue ceramic teapot from the c. 1950s-1960s. Finished in Sylvac’s classic glossy blue glaze with raised floral detailing, this is a well-proportioned mid-century piece that works equally well as a functional teapot or decorative display item. A timeless example of British pottery design from the period.

Base has the impression 1585 MADE IN ENGLAND.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The glaze shows light, even crazing consistent with age and typical of mid-century ceramics. There is a small glaze imperfection on the rim from manufacture (visible in photos); this is a production feature, not a chip or later damage.
Size: 19cm wide x 16cm tall Collector Note This piece forms part of our Mid-Century Ceramics Curated Collection, featuring a considered selection of European and studio ceramic design from the mid-20th century, spanning the 1940s through to the late 1970s.
