'Roxana' Syngonium podophyllum - 1L / 14cm / Small

Syngonium Roxana is a soft, luminous arrowhead plant prized for its pale white green foliage traced with delicate pink veining. Unlike deeper pink Syngonium varieties, Roxana carries a lighter, almost pastel base colour that gives it a fresh, airy look while the rosy veins add subtle contrast and detail. Compact and tidy when young, it gradually develops a gentle trailing habit as it matures, making it ideal for shelves, plant stands or hanging pots. Elegant rather than bold, this variety suits bright interiors where its soft colouring can be appreciated up close. Position & Light Prefers bright indirect light to maintain its pale colouring and defined pink veins. Can tolerate medium light but leaves may deepen slightly in tone. Avoid harsh direct sun which can scorch the lighter foliage. In New Zealand homes, position near an east facing window or in a bright north facing room set back from direct sun. Watering Allow the top third of the potting mix to dry before watering. Keep evenly moist during active growth but never waterlogged. Reduce watering frequency in winter when growth slows. Ensure good drainage to prevent root issues. Humidity Thrives in moderate humidity but adapts well to typical indoor conditions. Higher humidity encourages fuller growth and healthier leaf edges. Soil Use a well draining indoor potting mix with added bark or perlite for airflow. A light aroid style blend supports strong root development. Feeding Feed monthly through spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser at half strength. Pause feeding in winter. Growth Habit A compact clumping plant when young that will gradually trail as stems lengthen. Can be allowed to cascade or lightly supported for a fuller display. Difficulty Easy to moderate. Suitable for beginners wanting a soft coloured foliage plant with manageable care. Pet Safety Toxic if ingested. Contains calcium oxalate crystals that may cause irritation to pets and humans.
