How to apply GT Complete Focus

For soil / potting mix: 3 to 5mls (1 teaspoon) per 1 litre water.

For hydro / semi-hydro: 5mls (1 teaspoon) to 7mls per 1 litre water.

Adjust your dilution rate according to your plant’s needs: For a mixed jungle use the general maintenance dose. For light feeders or slow growers, dilute 3mls per 1 litre water. For heavy feeders and fast growers dilute up to 10mls (2 teaspoons) per 1 litre water. General maintenance 5mls per 1 litre water.

How often to apply GT Complete Focus

To avoid irreversible deficiencies in immobile nutrients (such as calcium), it’s recommended to fertilise with GT Focus every time you water, also known as the Weakly Weekly Method. GT is safe for frequent feeding without the same risk of fertiliser burn as other brands.

GT Complete Focus FAQs

How often should I apply GT Complete Focus?
Give your plants a weekly treat! Feed them Focus nutrients at least once a week during their active growing seasons—especially in spring and summer when they’re bursting with life.

Can I use GT Complete Focus more than once a week?
Absolutely! Many growers see amazing results using 5–10ml per litre with each watering. Just remember—more isn’t always better! Never exceed 10ml per litre to keep your plants happy and avoid any chance of root or leaf burn.

Should I feed differently during summer and winter?
Yes! Plants grow faster and stronger in the warmer months, so regular feeding helps them thrive. In winter, they slow down or rest—meaning they need little to no extra nutrients during this quiet season.

Can I use GT Complete Focus on seedlings?
Of course! Start them off gently with a light mix—no more than 5ml per litre—during the first few weeks. As your little ones grow stronger and show new leaves, you can gradually increase the nutrient strength.

Can I spray GT Complete Focus on the leaves?
Yes, you can! Plants love a quick pick-me-up through their leaves. Mix up to 5ml per litre and mist lightly—but skip the hot, sunny hours to avoid leaf burn. It’s the perfect way to give them an instant boost!

What if my potting mix already has a slow-release fertiliser, can I still use GT Complete Focus in it?
No worries! You can still use Focus—just halve the usual strength to avoid overfeeding. For best results, try using coco fibre instead. It holds moisture beautifully, is pure and consistent, and pairs perfectly with Focus products for healthy, vibrant growth.
