Pepperomia Caperata
The Peperomia caperata is a compact and characterful houseplant, loved for its deeply rippled, heart-shaped leaves and rich colouring. With its textured foliage and tidy growth habit, it makes a perfect addition to desks, shelves, and small plant displays.
Available in a range of cultivars with shades of green, silver, or deep burgundy, Peperomia caperata adds subtle drama without taking up much space. Its slow to moderate growth and easy-care nature make it ideal for both beginners and seasoned plant lovers.
PLANT CARE
Soil: Use a well-draining, lightweight potting mix. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings, as peperomias prefer to stay on the drier side.
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but adapts well to medium light conditions. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Humidity: Prefers moderate humidity but adapts well to average indoor environments.
Temperature: Best suited to warm indoor temperatures between 18-25C.
Fertiliser: Feed lightly during the growing season with a diluted, balanced fertiliser.
