Classic White

A smooth fine ultra white clay that performs well as earthenware through to white stoneware. It is ideal for colour and glaze, or on-glaze decoration.

Best applications: Throwing and general handbuilding, where a fine white finish is required.

- Mesh size 100

- Bisque: 1000 degrees Celsius

- Glaze: 1150 - 1280 degrees Celsius

- Shrinkage: 6% wet to dry, 8% at 1150, 10% at 1180, 13% at 1220, 14% at 1280

- Water Absorption: 11% at 1150, 8% at 1180, 4% at 1220, 2% at 1280
