The SLB48-230-146-5 is built for dependable operation across diverse Australian environments, with a wide thermal range supporting discharging from –20 °C to 60 °C and charging from 0 °C to 55 °C. Its 76.5 kg construction is housed within a rack-optimised 4U enclosure rated to IP20, suitable for telecom shelters, utilities, control rooms, and other indoor installations requiring high-density energy storage.

Electrical performance is supported by a BMS-controlled 100 A circuit breaker and a 6 kW peak discharge capability for transient load handling during grid outages or switchover events. For added site protection, the battery incorporates Polarium’s patented Anti Theft Device, which disables the unit if it is removed from its installation location.
