Dunkermotoren ME52 Magnetic Pulse Generator

The Dunkermotoren ME52 is a magnetic pulse generator that works contact-free and wear-free using Hall sensors and a magnetic ring. It provides 2 ppr or 12 ppr (8 or 48 cpr) depending on version, with open collector plus pull-up output and two square-wave signals 90° phase shifted. The ME52 is compatible with the GR 42, GR 53 and GR 63 motor series.

Supply voltage ranges from 5 Vdc to 26.5 Vdc, with a minimum of 7.5 Vdc required below 0°C. The ME52 RR variant meets the requirements of EN 50155 for railway rolling stock. Protective hoods in IP 54 or higher are available on request.
