Cosel PCA300F Series Medical AC/DC Power Supply

Medical power design lives or dies on isolation, and the Cosel PCA300F earns its place with 2MOPP isolation (4,000Vac input-to-output) and full approvals to ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd Edition. It packs that compliance into a 300W-class enclosed supply just 41mm high, so patient-adjacent electronics get certified power in a single 1U slot — in a case weighing only 0.84kg.

What sets the PCA300F apart from larger supplies is input flexibility: alongside the universal 85–264Vac range, it accepts an 88–370Vdc input, so the unit keeps running from a battery backup if the mains drops (the medical safety approvals apply to AC operation). Six output models from 5Vdc to 48Vdc — up to 60A on the 5V unit — cover everything from logic rails to motorised stages, and a built-in constant-current function with adjustment down to near 0V adds real flexibility for charging and test loads.

For uptime-critical systems, parallel and N 1 redundant operation come standard, with remote sensing, remote ON/OFF, DC-OK and alarm LEDs, and an Extended UART interface (optional PMBus) for monitoring and control. A 12V 0.1A auxiliary output feeds supervisory circuits, emissions meet EMI Class B, and the series is backed by an up-to-5-year warranty.
