ATA PTX5V2 / B&D Tri-Tran Compatible Garage Door Remote (Aftermarket)

This is an aftermarket replacement remote designed to suit a wide range of ATA PTX and B&D Tri-Tran / Tri-Tran garage door openers and receivers. We use these as a dependable replacement option when customers need an extra remote or a like-for-like swap.

This remote can be switched between two coding types to match your motor/receiver.

Compatible With

ATA

- ATA PTX5V1 / PTX5V2 compatible systems (learn-button receivers)

B&D:

- B&D Tri-Tran
- B&D Tri-Tran

Note: Compatibility depends on the receiver type. If your opener uses PTX5V1/V2 or Tri-Tran/Tri-Tran , this remote will suit.

Not Compatible With:

- Old dip-switch remotes/receivers
- Other brands or coding systems not listed above

Easy Programming (Quick Guide)

ATA PTX5V1/V2 mode
- Press and hold the receiver learn button (do not release).
- Press the chosen remote button twice.
- Receiver LED changes / confirms. Test remote.

B&D Tri-Tran / Tri-Tran mode
- Press and hold SW1 or SW2 on the receiver until LED flashes.
- Press and hold the desired remote button for 2 seconds (LED flashes faster).
- Release for 2 seconds, then press the same button again for 2 seconds.
- LED confirms. Test remote.

Switching remote type (if it won’t code)

Hold (1 2) or (3 4) together for 5 seconds until LED changes, then retry programming
