Fire Brick, Full Size Tapered 230 x 115 x 75/63mm

These refractory bricks are designed specifically to create a great looking arch entry. The natural earth colour create an authentic and rustic look.

The bricks are manufactured with a taper which reduces the mortar required between bricks. This taper goes from 75mm at the top of the brick to 63mm at the base.

The bricks are designed to handle high temperatures and are dense to absorb and slowly release heat.

They are perfect for wood fired ovens.

These full bricks are typically used in conjunction with half bricks of the same taper to create an arch and flue entry at the same time.

Note: Refractory bricks are brittle and regularly have small chips out of the edges. This is just the way they are. Remember that when building an arch for an oven only one side will be showing and small chips are not obvious in a finished oven.
