These high quality refractory fire bricks, with a massive 42% alumina content, are brilliant for high heat environments.

Ideal for pizza ovens, wood burners, coal ranges, fireplaces, BBQ's, grills, welding tables.

For wood fire and charcoal applications, these bricks have high thermal mass so absorb, retain and release heat for even heating, cleaner burning and greater radiant heat. The bricks are excellent for protecting steel fire places from damaging direct flame contact.

Density is critical for an oven floor. The bricks absorb heat from the fire then release it via convection into the food being cooked. The 25mm thickness is on the thinner side for oven floors but it provides a good balance of quick heat up, performance, easy cutting and economics. They can be combined with a mortar layer (like Fire Mortar) to provide a thicker solution.

These bricks are rated to handle up to 1730 degrees C (1400 under load).

The bricks are heavy, weighing approximately 1.5kg each so we can only send 16 bricks at a time via standard courier. This means we are unable to combine freight.
