This is a high quality stainless steel flue cowl designed to deflect rain from entering the flue. It is manufactured for the spigot to slot inside a flue pipe.

The minimalist design looks great and suits a wide range of oven and wood fire designs.

It does sacrifice perfect performance for looks and is likely to let some rain in from around the sides in windy conditions.

In windy situations the cowl should be secured in place with rivets.
