Chimney Flue Blanking Cap Stainless Steel. Two sizes available.

These high quality stainless steel blanking caps are designed slot over the top of a chimney flue. They can be a permanent cap or removed during use and replaced to stop water entering the chimney flue.

They are excellent to maintain a more simple chimney flue look while the oven is not in use.

An open ended flue is better for vertical smoke discharge.

An oven or fireplace with a standard cowl can become blackened with use and the 'soot' can run down after rain and mark your oven. These prevent that from happening.

The caps fit onto the outside of the flue and have an extra long spigot (leg length) to ensure they stay on during windy conditions. They can require a bit of a 'wiggle' to get on as they need to be a tight fit.
