For a domed shaped pizza oven, it is normal practice to build your fire in the middle of the oven them move it to the side rather than back. This is so you can see the side of your food facing the fire to avoid it burning. Some tools on the market are designed to push and pull the fire and embers, not push them to the side so be aware of that.

The curved end is also very good for cleaning out burnt ashes.

The tool has a total length of 1170mm to reach right to the back of a standard oven and has a handy hole drilled in the end for hanging.
