Moisture Meter for Wood

This clever little device is very handy for measuring the moisture levels in your fire wood. It is often very hard to gauge the water content of fire wood so these take away the mystery.

Simply select a wood type that is the same or close to your wood type, remove the top safety cap and press the two metal spikes into the wood to get an instant reading.

The drier the wood the less smoke is produced and the more heat created. A reading around 15% os ok but if you can get your wood to 10% or less even better!

Requires one 9V battery which is not included.
