Door Mould for 800mm Pizza Oven - Complete Kit

This clever three piece mould is designed to be trimmed to size then secured together with tape. The handle is secured to the reinforcing mesh using the wire ties provided, then a mortar is added to create the perfect door for the 800mm cardboard mould oven.

Included in the kit are the following:

-Cardboard template with waterproofing wax

-Shaped steel mould outer

-Reinforcing Steel

-Steel Handle with joining ties

-10kg refractory grade mortar

-Waterpoofing sealer

-Detailed instructions

The kit creates a 50mm thick door and comes with 10kg of refractory grade mortar to fill the mould and create the door.

Using this mortar to create the door makes it nice and heavy so it doesn't blow over and its thermal mass helps retain internal oven temperatures (for slow cooking ).

You will need tape to secure the sides of the mould. The packaging tape included in the cardboard mould packs is perfect, but any standard strong tape will be fine.

Once the mortar has set (24 hours) the mould pieces are peeled off and disposed of.

The door is then left to dry and sealed with the sealer provided to make the outer side of the door waterproof. Sealing the door from moisture ingress significantly reduces the chances of it cracking when heated.
