1968 Vauxhall Viva

A seriously tidy example of a Viva fully rebuilt over many years. Delivered new in New Zealand in 1968 and still wearing its original plate. Built with attention to finest details, including a custom drain panel under the oil filter to prevent running onto the oil cooler. Rear seats trimmed and piped around the cage and integrated Smiths gauges make this a car you need to come see to appreciate fully.
Mechanical Details
Engine - 2.3L Bedford, twin DCOE 48 Weber carbs, custom exhaust manifold and system. Recently completely rebuilt by Landon Motorsport with new custom pistons and valves. (all receipts available)
Dynoed at around 225 HP but pulled back to 210 HP at flywheel. Remote filter and cooler, external oil pump to prevent oiling issues. Gearbox - Gertrag Diff - Custom LSD, new rear suspension arm bushes. Brakes - Front disc with 4 pot with Winmax pad. - Rear discs. - Brake pedal modified to suit adjustable bias bar. (needs remote cable and knob fitted to operate on the fly) Wheels - Custom widened Rostyle 13" wheel Tyres - Nankang AR1 205/60R13 Suspension - Koni shocks all around, coil over on the front.
Interior
Factory dash modified with Smiths gauges. New NZKW drivers seat with Sylvester 6 point harness. MSNZ certified roll cage, rear seat tidily modified to fit around the bars. Fire extinguisher on floor under driver legs. Cartek battery isolator, isolates battery and cuts power to the fuel pump.
