This series of works are for our annual event, Modern Japanese Craft 24' Exhibition.
Hand built without a mould, joining parts to create this dynamic form. Her work explores a juxtaposition between smooth and coarse surfaces, slender and round forms.
Black: burnished with metal spatular and fire with sew-dusts in 'Saya' (canister) White: Some layer of slips and glaze to make those texture
