Wall Hanging Sculpture - Ver. 2

Hand built without a mould, joining parts to create full piece. Amazingly symmetrical yet undeniably organic in nature. Her work explores a juxtaposition between smooth and coarse surfaces, slender and round forms.
The black finish is archived by carbonising whilst being fired by placing the vase into a box with dry rice husks. Unglazed.
