Our Douglas Fir O il is harvested from evergreen fir trees in New Zealand, Douglas Fir has a unique blend of chemical compounds giving a fresh, fragrant woodsy aroma with top notes of citrus. The supplier is committed to responsibly sourced , sustainable, and consistently high-quality essential oil. No pesticides or synthetic fertilisers have been used on the land for 25 years and are seeking organic certification.

Their e ssential oil is produced on-site and are moving towards a closed-loop process – by using biomass boilers, ensuring that the same forests producing the essential oil will also power 100% of the steam used for distillation - “ By valuing our forests and the communities that rely on them, we cultivate a healthy world ".

Douglas Fir can provide cleansing and healing b enefits when applied topically to the skin (diluted).

Fir’s generally have an affinity with the respiratory system - ideal as an inhalation or chest rub for sinus or chest congestion and coughs. Can be useful in a massage oil for muscle and joint aches and pains due to stiffness and lack of mobility

Promotes motivation, is uplifting and helpful for times when more emotional strength is needed. Creates a positive environment - much like a walk in the woods (forest bathing).

To refresh enclosed spaces, especially in the wintertime. Can provide useful for cleaning products due to it s cleansing and fresh en ing benefits.
