Conditioner Pellets - Palm Free (BTMS-80)

BTMS-80 is a palm free active conditioning agent and cationic emulsifier. It gives excellent detangling, antistatic and softening properties in leave-on and rinse-off hair care. The high concentration of 80% active ingredient allows the formulator to manipulate the conditioning agent to fatty alcohol ratio in the finished product. It is extremely popular in palm free solid bar recipes.

As it doesn’t have a Cetearyl or Cetyl Alcohol component like the other BTMS options you can combine it with Brassica Alcohols to keep the formulation palm-free.

This product contains 80% active content (Behentrimonium Methosulfate), we also offer BTMS 25 which contains 25% active content and BTMS 50 which contains 50% active content (these are not palm-free).

BTMS-80 comes as easy-to-use pellets, and is derived from Rapeseed (Canola) Oil.
