Artist Statement: There’s something deeply nostalgic about foraging for blackberries, the way they stain fingertips, the quiet ritual of gathering them into baskets. This arrangement is a celebration of high summer, the golden pears, the soft romance of David Austin roses and the warm glow of sunflowers. A tableau rich in colour and texture, wild and cultivated. Poetic, painterly, a still life that reminds us of childhood memories that give us a deep soulful sense of belonging.

Inspired by the Dutch Masters floral paintings but reimagined through a contemporary lens.
