Favourite Thyme of the Year

My favourite time of the year to walk in the hills is when the thyme is in flower. This is a scene from the top of the "Graveyard Gully" walk, mid-morning on the return to Alexandra. The sun is coming over the crest of the hill, lighting up the thyme all purple and pink.
