Glass Art - Anzac Enamel Red Earrings (small and large)

Poppies are worn as a show of support for our Anzacs.
Our poppy earrings are suspended from handmade sterling silver hooks and each poppy measures approximately 12mm (small) or 15-17mm diameter (large). The length of both small and large earrings is approximately 25mm from the top of the earhooks to the bottom petal.
Small earrings have been made by mixing transparent flame red and a deep, opaque red creating a lovely blend, just right for poppy flowers. The larger earrings are made from opaque red and have more flowing petals, reminiscent of real life poppy flowers. Both flowers have black, detailed centres.
The red poppy is worn to commemorate women and men who served our countries during WWI. The purple poppy, a new addition to our range, is worn to commemorate animals who have lost their lives during conflict. White poppies are a symbol of peace - a remembrance for all war victims, a challenge to the glorification of conflict and a commitment to peace.
