NEW! Glass Art Anzac Poppy Earrings - Two sizes
Poppies are worn as a show of support for our Anzacs.
Our poppy earrings are made from lampwork glass and suspended from handmade sterling silver hooks and each poppy measures approximately 12mm (small) or 15-17mm diameter (large).
Small earrings have been made by mixing transparent flame red and a deep, opaque red creating a lovely blend, just right for poppy flowers. The larger earrings are made from opaque red and have more flowing petals, reminiscent of real life poppy flowers. Both flowers have black, detailed centres.
Under the high heat of a specialised torch, glass has been melted and sculpted into these sweet little poppy flowers, through the process of lampwork. Complex techniques have been used to form realistic flower shapes. Every piece has been made by Selma in her studio.
