Ben Ho was born in Guangzhou, China, in 1962 and attended the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts University. In 1988, he emigrated to New Zealand, where he has since won numerous prestigious art awards, including the Otago Regional Council Award, the KG Fraser Award, Herald Award, and the Gold Medal Award at the Royal Easter Show. Ben is also a highly sought-after tutor in oil and watercolor, recognized both here in New Zealand and internationally.
