Why Dimafix?
Dimafix is the kind of product you buy because you’re sick of failed first layers, lifted corners and prints letting go halfway through. It gives reliable bed adhesion across a wide range of materials, so you can spend less time second guessing the bed and more time just printing.

Why I stock it?
I only stock products I’d actually use myself, and Dimafix is one of them. I use it on everything, from PLA through to nylon, including carbon and glass fibre blends. It’s the only bed adhesive I run because it simply works very well. Some days almost too well, so a light coat is all you need.

Where it works best
This is especially useful for materials that like to warp, such as ABS, ASA, nylon and engineering filaments. Most of my printers are open, where adhesion is usually more of a fight, and this is where Dimafix really earns its place. It is temperature activated, so the higher the bed temperature, the stronger the hold, making it well suited to high temperature filaments.

Release, cleanup & value
Once the bed cools, parts release easily. Dimafix is also suitable for bed temperatures up to and over 140°C, making it a good match for high temperature materials and demanding prints.

Cleanup is simple too. Dimafix washes away easily with warm water, so you’re not left scraping glue or fighting residue off the build plate.

When you look at the real cost of failed prints, it makes sense pretty quickly. Large prints, failed parts, wasted material, machine time and reprinting all add up, especially with CF or engineering filaments. If a bottle lasts six months to a year, it’s cheap insurance.
