NZ Wakame Flakes

Harvested by hand from pristine New Zealand waters, our Wakame Flakes are air-dried to preserve nutrients and flavour, then tested. Wakame is well known as a delicious ingredient in miso soups, but it is also a versatile everyday seaweed seasoning, which is highly nutritious. With a subtle, salty flavour, Wakame Flakes make a wonderful (lower sodium) salt alternative! Add to cooking instead of fresh or dried herbs to deepen umami and sprinkle on salads, stir fries, soups as a yummy garnish! Each serving offers an excellent source of Iodine and source of Magnesium.
