Shigaraki Vase | Deep Blue · Delicate Mineral Texture

A deep navy that leans almost black, yet never feels heavy. The glaze is luminous, scattered with fine blue mineral specks that rest across the surface like distant stardust. As the light shifts, the glaze comes alive, revealing subtle silvery flecks, like a quiet glimpse of the night sky.

The body is finished with a faceted mentori technique, where the craftsman carefully carves flat planes into the cylindrical form. Each facet adds a grounded, tactile feel in hand, while bringing a restrained, geometric elegance to its appearance.

At a compact size of around 15 cm, it doesn’t demand attention, yet quietly holds it. A single stem, a few dried leaves, or nothing at all, it’s just as beautiful simply on its own.
