The floral notes and mellow finish of Central Otago’s Lamermoor Sloe Gin refines the rasp of cider vinegar , further warmed and tickled with runny Southland honey. Allspice, with its cheerful fragrant warmth, freshness and woodsy stability and home-grown plums or organic , with their frank and honest sweetness revel in this fusion of flavour to create pickled onions of unexpected refinement and endless culinary opportunity. Light and fragrant, this product is a tribute to Josie’s grandmother, who always paired plum with allspice in her own kitchen.
