Red blown venetian glass earrings

These beautiful earrings are very light. The technique for making these beads in venice is the same everywhere. Firstly blow the shape, yes using your mouth & a special tube to blow air into the glass, then roll the hot glass in 24ct gold. This gives the uneven distribution of the gold but looks amazing paired with the light glass.
