Red Vintage Venetian Millefiore Necklace

A vibrant graduated and knotted necklace made using vintage end-of-day oval Venetian millefiore beads. This is a very long and gorgeous necklace with a dark red background and bright red silk (the knotting has been freshly done).

The term "millefiore" comes from the Italian words for "thousand" and "flowers," and is used to describe decorative glass that is handmade to display distinctive floral patterns. Each bead has a unique design with wonderfully bright colours.
