Are Salvestrols antioxidants?
No Salvestrols are not antioxidants: they work through a specific mechanism that is independent of cellular damage, that is they are effective beyond the point where antioxidants cease to be useful.

Are Salvestrols safe?

There is no known toxicity level, even at well beyond the recommended number of Salvestrol Points per day, including for people with diabetes and food allergies. However as with most supplements, Salvestrols should be used with caution by pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers.

Can I break open the capsules and take as a powder?
Yes, you can open the capsules and take them, they taste very bitter so try a small amount first to see if it is palatable to you.

Can I take other supplements between my two doses?
Taking a multi-vitamin and multi-mineral supplement can increase the effectiveness of Salvestrols. The specific cofactors are: Biotin, vitamin B3, vitamin B12, vitamin C, iron, and magnesium. These can be taken between the doses.

Why do I have to take two doses of Salvestrols instead of one?
Salvestrols reach peak concentration after 3 hours after ingestion, the second dose boosts blood levels as concentration of the 1 st dose diminishes, allowing for peak levels to be reached in your body for a longer, lengthening the therapeutic window.

Can I take these for general health purposes and Is one capsule enough a day?
Yes, many people do, though we suggest a personalized approach with dosing so talking to a practitioner or contacting us here at Salvacare is your best approach.

Will Salvestrols interfere with drug therapies?

Salvestrols are a food-based supplement and should not interfere with prescription medication and/or other medical therapies unless such therapies restrict the intake of the fruit sources listed on the product label. Naringenin is a compound commonly found in grapefruit, which may interact with several CYP enzymes and could therefore interfere with some drug therapies.

Please note that Salvestrol products do not contain grapefruit.

I have a bottle I opened 6 months ago and its half full, is it ok to take now?
Yes, as long as it is before the expiry date.

If I forget to take them for a couple of days is it going to stop working?
It is best to take them continuously, try and get back on them as soon as possible and focus on remembering to take them. Have them beside your bed or set a reminder on your phone.

How do I store the bottle?
In a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Below 30°C, no need to refrigerate.
