Borgo Paglianetto Petrara Organic Verdicchio di Matelica 2021 - Sapori D'Italia

The etymology of the name refers to a geographical indication, in fact designating an ancient area of the city of Matelica. Petrara looks like an evolved wine, with an important maturation; the grapes it comes from are South facing and enjoy therefore a greater exposure to sunlight. This wine coy and understated in the glass, with dusty yellow flowers and nuances of chamomile. It is textually soft with minerality, fruits and florals turning to savoury, salinity and then hints of candied lime.
