Hooked Back Starter Bars

This hooked back starter bar is pre-bent in two different bar diameters (D10 & D12) from Grade 300E Deformed Reinforcing Bar, manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 4671 standards (NZ compliant).

Other sizes are also available upon request.

Starter bars are single lengths of reinforcing bar, placed at predefined intervals in foundations or footings to tie them into adjoining structures, such as walls or columns. Because starter bars are embedded into a concrete slab or wall with one end sticking out, they can present a site safety risk until the concrete is poured around them. Protective plastic end-caps are often fitted to starter bars while they are exposed. Available Sizes:

Lead Times & Availability

- We aim to dispatch orders for mesh & stock length straight bars within 1-2 days.
- If some of the reinforcing bars in your order need to be "cut & bent" (for example stirrups, link bars or shorter lengths of straight bar), please note that we might require a lead time of 3 - 5 days to cut and bend these materials.
